In patients adults, a suppository should be used daily, when necessary, or at the discretion of the physician. How to use: introduce the suppository through the rectal route and try to retain it until the urge to evacuate occurs.
In babies, a suppository should be used at the time of need, or at the discretion of the physician. How to use: introduce the suppository rectally through the sharpest part and hold the other end with the fingertips until the stool is obtained.
In children up to 12 years of age, use a suppository a day when necessary, or at the discretion of the physician. In general, the desired effect of evacuation is achieved a few minutes after the introduction of the suppository into the rectum.
The glycerin suppository can be allowed to act for 15 to 30 minutes. It is not necessary for the product to completely dissolve to produce the desired effect.
