The skin of the person with vitiligo is sensitive and may react differently. The excoriation that the tattoo promotes on the skin can cause the Koebner phenomenon. This phenomenon is a reaction that the skin does when it is traumatized, escoriada or even when it is tanned excessively. And in provoking this phenomenon the depigmented area may increase, aggravating disease picture.
The person with vitiligo should always wear sunscreen and use in moderation objects that can damage the skin like necklaces, bracelets, etc.
