Pregnant can I take X-rays and take amoxicillin?

I discovered today that I have pneumonia, but not an x-ray, but only with a device that puts on the coast that the doctor put. I have 4 days with a lot of pain in the upper part of the coast and when I cough it hurts in my chest. I am 5 months pregnant, the doctor gave me amoxicillin and I am afraid to take it. Is it advisable for me to take this medicine? Or do an x-ray?
