The presence of balls in the nipples is quite common and many women already have them without being pregnant or with hormonal changes.

However, if these balls in the areola or in the nipple of the sinus manifest in form of wounds, with elimination of secretion and pain, may be a type of breast cancer known as Paget's disease.

In general, the first symptom of Paget's disease is itching and redness constant on the nipple, more specifically around the nipple in the areola. Then the wounds appear, which cause a lot of pain and they do not heal.
