Gastritis it's a process inflammation of the stomach mucosa usually caused by autoimmune or infectious process, use of medications, sensitivity or stress reactions. Gastritis can occur in certain parts of the stomach (body, antrum, cardia) and when it is present in all areas of the stomach it is called pangastritis.
Pangastrite is the inflammatory process (gastritis) that occurs in the stomach as a whole.
This gastritis can be acute when it suddenly appears and lasts for a short period of time. When the gastritis lasts more than months it is classified as chronic.
Both gastritis and pangastritis deserve adequate treatment and diet to avoid future complications such as ulcers and stomach cancer.
