Yes, those who have teratoma in the ovary can become pregnant. However, there are cases in which the Teratoma can prevent pregnancy, if the ovary becomes distended with the growth of the tumor (benign), becoming the very coating of the teratoma.
When this happens, the ovary virtually ceases to exist as an organ and it may not be possible to conceive.
However, in general, Teratomas in the ovary do not prevent a woman from getting pregnant, but it is recommended to first surgery to remove the teratoma, because the hormonal changes that occur in pregnancy can cause a rapid growth of the tumor, with risk of rupture of the same.
