I have a 5 year old daughter and I noticed a small scar on the neck

I have a 5 year old daughter and for about 1 year I noticed a small carob on the right side of her neck, it did not increase in size and it moves and it hurts a little bit when we palpate. The pediatrician said to be normal. Should I worry?
Expert answer:

What you say "carocinhos" are actually lymph nodes, small organs of defense scattered throughout the body they increase in size when they need to "work" for the defense of the region near where they are located. So usually increase in cases of infection and inflammation and in rarer cancer cases (this is probably your concern). Since your daughter has had them for a long time and they have not grown in size, so stay calm.
