In general, the menstruation comes in between 3 to 7 days after finishing the chart contraceptive.
Birth control pills can have 21, 24 or 28 pills in each carton.
In the card with 21 tablets, the woman pauses for 7 days between one card and another and during this pause, she will present the menses.
In the card containing 24 tablets, the pause between the cards should be 4 days and during this period there will be menstruation.
In medications with 28 tablets, the woman menstruates when she is in the last 4 packet tablets.
For a better efficacy of the contraceptive, the woman must make continuous use of the pill, performing only the intervals programmed between one card and another, avoiding pauses beyond these.
Some low-dose pills and direct use with no gaps between cartons make the woman not menstruating. This does not mean that the contraceptive effect is not active.
