Can I take Contraceptive Breastfeeding?

The pediatrician advised me to take Contracep injection, but I have an 8-month-old baby who breastfeeds, and reading the package insert is not recommended during lactation. And now what do I do? I was afraid to take it. Do I run the risk of my milk drying out?
