- unregulated bleeding (leakage);
- absence of bleeding (menstruation) on pause;
- thromboses;
- increased blood pressure;
- discomfort of the cornea when in contact lens wear;

- propensity to contract vaginal infections, such as candidiasis, due to the reduction of immunity in the body;
- sensitivity, pain, augmentation and secretion in the breasts;
- nausea, vomiting;
- headache, migraine;
- mood changes;
- fluid retention;
- reduction of glucose tolerance;
- change in body weight (usually weight gain);
- skin irritation;
- dark spots on the face (melasma);
- hepatic adenoma;
- cholestatic jaundice;
- exacerbation of epileptic status.
