Take Thames 20, may I amend two cards?

Hello! I take the contraceptive Thames 20, I would like to know if I can amend two cards, but take only the first week of the second card and pause so that menstruation normally falls and then resume the same card? If this happens, is it still protected, or is it recommended to use an additional contraceptive method until the end of the card? I thank the attention!
