The symptoms of antisocial personality disorder are characterized by behaviors that infringe the rights others and demonstrate indifference to the feelings of others.
People with antisocial personality disorder never fit into social behavior patterns and within the law. The infractions are frequent, like robbery and damage to the property of others, which leads to the prison of the patient in the most serious situations.
Attitudes are marked by inability to conform to social and legal norms, inclination to lie and falsehood, impulsivity or difficulty in setting goals, aggressiveness, irritability, physical aggression, disrespect for the authorities and safety. They may also manifest irresponsibility, lack of repentance or remorse.
Violations of the rules are not limited to laws, but also to moral and social behavior, almost always marked by the lack of respect for other people, such as manipulations and lies.
They are impulsive people, capable of performing any kind of attitude to achieve what they want, in almost every situation.
Individuals with antisocial personality disorder have repetitive and persistent behaviors, marked by transgression of respect and rights of others, or by disrespect for moral and social rules.
Attitudes can manifest themselves in the following ways:
- Aggressiveness that results in or threatens to cause aggression to people or animals;
- Non-aggressive attitudes that result in loss, damage, or theft of the property of others, as well as serious breaches of rules.
People with antisocial personality disorder do not have the ability to judge the consequences of their attitudes. Aggression, neglect, lack of prudence and the use of alcohol and drugs are also common features of the disorder.

The difficulty in pursuing goals is great, with constant changes in employment and difficulty managing personal finances.
Although it is a chronic disorder, the symptoms tend to diminish very much with age, being able to get to the point of not interfering in the person's life.
First symptoms and diagnosis
In boys, the first signs and symptoms of antisocial disorder begin to manifest between 8 and 10 years of age.
In girls, manifestations may begin at puberty, that is, before adolescence, between 10 and 12 years of age.
If the child does not present the signs and symptoms of antisocial disorder up to age 15, it will hardly develop the disorder.
For antisocial disorder to be diagnosed, the person must have deviant behavior since the age of 15 years. The diagnosis can only be made after the individual turns 18.
