What is the risk for the baby in an obese pregnant woman?

Doctor, my daughter is 15 and she's pregnant, she's 2 months old, she weighs 99 kilos. Could this be a problem for the baby? will it be cesarean?
Expert answer:

Obesity and gestation is a dangerous combination, increasing your daughter's chances of developing diabetes or high blood pressure during pregnancy which increases the risk of fetal and maternal death. Of course if all is done correctly, a good prenatal and a good diet (your daughter should not put on anything) these risks decrease. The obese pregnant woman has a higher chance of being a cesarean delivery.
