Can red spot on the head of my penis be syphilis?

Two weeks ago a red spot appeared on the head of my penis, I thought it was candidiasis, then I took the fungus medicine, but the spot did not disappear. I only screw with a condom, but when I was about 20 I did not have a condom. Can this be syphilis? Note: I am 38 years old.
Expert answer:

Syphilis is a Sexually Transmitted Disease (STD) that has an incubation time of approximately 14 days and the initial lesion is a cancer (wound) at the site of the contact, but as you have only had intercourse with a condom and the symptom described by you does not seems to be the typical Syphilis lesion, apparently not syphilis.

Seek a Urologist who will examine the injury, make the correct diagnosis and treatment.
